I have 2 parameters that connect each other.
I have temperature and time values.
How do I know which one is x and which one is y?

x is usually the independent variable and y is usually the dependent variable.

Ask yourself: Does temperature depend on time OR does time depend on temperature?

If temperature depends on time, then temperature is the dependent variable (y) and time is the independent variable (x).

If time depends on temperature, then it's the other way around,
