Don't know how to get the answers

Could anyone just take a look at the picture attached and advise me how to do question a I'm fine with it being done traditionally but if some one could tell me how to do it on a scientific calculator it would be much appreciated

What, exactly, are you attempting to do? What is causing confusion once you reach the step of plugging stuff into a calculator?

To read your inverted diagram I had to install a seat belt on my lazy boy recliner so that i could turn it upside down and clearly see your problem. Unfortunately I knocked a lamp over and a short circuit burned my house down. That's cool but I barely know a ski from a pogo stick so I will wait for others to give you a hand. Sorry.
