Domain and range using interval notation

I haven’t taken a math class in years and am in college algebra.
The question is “list the domain and range of the function pictured below using interval notation.”

C0D05D1F-E3E7-49FB-AD0C-143895995491.jpegI’m having a hard time with the range specifically. I believe the domain is (-infinity, 0.5] the range I’m thinking either (0.3,0.6] or [0.6,infinite) the arrow running on that 0.3 is what’s throwing me off

The domain is what's allowed to go into the function. You've correctly identified the domain.
The range is what comes out of it. The arrow has nothing to do with the range.
f(x) = 0.3, for all x<= 0.1. The function does attain the value of 0.3. Thus the range is [0.3, 0.6].
