A dollar depriciates by half every 5 years. How many years will the dollar be 1/10000000.
I know the long way to do it. I was just wondering what the formula was to actually find it.

The way I found it was just make a table and have my x's go by five and then figure my y's.

n = number of 5year periods
.5^n = 1/10000000
n = log(1/10000000) / log(.5) = 23.253...
