I am having trouble with this problem:
4q^6 divided by square root of q^21

I have simplified the square root to equal q^5 square root q
I now have 4q6 divided by q^5 square root q

I multiply the numerator and the denominator by square root q...and then I am stuck... I know that the answer is 4 square root q divided by q ^5...just don't know how to get there!

Are you saying that SQRT(q^21) = q^5 * SQRT(q) ?

If so, that's wrong; test it with q=2 (ALWAYS test first!)
