(6x3-11x2+11x-2) / (2x-3)

Is the answer 3x2-x+4 + remainder 10/2x-3?

Also what would be the correct way to write it out with the remainder.

I would write:

(6x3-11x2+11x-2) = (3x2-x+4)(2x-3) + 10

(6x3-11x2+11x-2) / (2x-3)

Is it correct? Why don't you check it? If you divide 17 by 3 and get 5 remainder 2 how do YOU check your answer? Personally I would multiply 5 and 3 and then add 2 to see if I get 17. Do the exact same with your problem and see if you get 6x3-11x2+11x-2. By the way, the remainder is 10 not 10/(2x-3). Is the remainder in 17 by 3, 2/3?
Whenever you are unsure of what you need to do, then just look carefully at a simpler problem that you do know how to do!
