Ok, well I am in 8th grade and homeschooled with the A Beka Book program. I am really good at the math problems, yet I can't seem to understand how the Dividing Monomials thing works. I can multiply them and everything else just not divide, there really is no exact problem I need help with, but I don understand them.

So for example these few problems I all got wrong:
- 12a[sup:1fc3qwk0]2[/sup:1fc3qwk0]b Divided by 3ab
The anwser for the number part is 4, but I don't understnad how to get the rest of the problem.

I have done about 30 or 40 of these and gotten them ALL wrong. I don't understand how to work these out. If you could please give me some tips or ideas on how to work these out that would be nice. <33

Help please,
Tiffany
