a problem of ratio and proportion:

Divide Rs 323 among A, B, and C such that A receives 4/13 of what B and C together receive, and B receives 5/14 of what A and C together receive.

You posted this to "Arithmetic" rather than to an "algebra" forum, so we'll assume that you don't know how to work with variables. What method(s) have you been taught?

Note: There isn't enough information to do this algebraically, so some guess-n-check will probably be involved. Also, this may not be solvable unless you're supposed to assume that each of the amounts is a whole number. Please let us know if that is what you're supposed to be doing. Thank you! ;)
