i have this problem and i'm not to sure how you deside what to do to set up the problem. it says for the problem: suppose you made 60 ounces of dough for breadsticks. each bread stick is made of (5/4) ounces of dough. How many breadsticks can you make. i'm not to sure if the problem would be set up as :

A. (5/4)*x/60

B. 60/(5/4)*x

C. or neither of those im really lost

if you can help it would be great, if you can i do understand thanks. :D

Jenny, that's as easy as:
1 hotdog costs $2; how many hotdogs can you buy with $14 ?
14 / 2 = 7, right?

Same thing with your problem:
1 breadstick needs 5/4 ounces; how many can you make with 60 ounces?
60 / (5/4) = 60*4/5 = 240/5 = 48 : kapish?
