We have a umm block (?) with sides i |AB| = 8 cm, |AE| = 4 cm a |AD| = 3. The task is to find the distance between the line HG and the plane EDC.
So I drew the plane. The distance from the line to EDC should be perpendicular to the plane's center, right? ED = 5 then KS= 2,5 and KM=3. Then the answer turns out to be 1,66 but it's not correct. Where's the mistake?

Why do you think that MS is perpendicular to the plane? It would be if EHDA was a square. But it's not. To understand what's happening better, draw a 4x3 rectangle with a diagonal and figure out the distance from the opposite vertex to the diagonal.

Got it! Then it's 2,4, thanks a lot!
