Let A and B be subsets of the natural numbers, N, with A={1, 2,..., 10}
(a) Give an example of a set B where A^c intersects B = empty set = { }
(b) How many sets B have the same property as the set you found in (a)?



I have no idea what this is asking or how to do it.

If this statement is true, then you need much more help than we can here provide. So I hope you're exaggerating, and will reply with your thoughts. :D
 
well, i know the answer, but the question had seemed quite pointless for any teacher to ask, so i had second guessed myself a lot. i guess the real problem i had with the question was the part B of the question.
