the problem that I have is:
Sketch the graph of y = 3x + 2 for x = 1 to 11

I would be very happy to know how to do this problem in these three ways:
  1. Draw the graph with x as a continuous variable
  2. Draw the graph with x = 1 to 11 as a continuous variable
  3. Draw the graph with x = 1 to 11 as a discrete variable with no y-intercept

Perhaps you are over-thinking it?

Can you graph this line? y = 3x + 2? If so, you are done with Part 1.

Can you then cut it off so that the Domain is [1,11]? If so, you are done with Part 2.

Can you then draw little circles around the values on the graph where the x-coordinate is an integer? If so, you are done with Part 3.

Thanks very much...
Got it...
