A portion of a periodic digital waveform is shown in the figure. The measurements are in milliseconds. Determine the following:

\(\displaystyle \bold{(a)}\) period
\(\displaystyle \bold{(b)}\) frequency
\(\displaystyle \bold{(c)}\) duty cycle

\(\displaystyle \bold{(a)}\)

\(\displaystyle T = 10 \ \text{ms} = 0.01 \ \text{s}\)

\(\displaystyle \bold{(b)}\)

\(\displaystyle f = \frac{1}{T} = \frac{1}{0.01} = 100 \ \text{Hz}\)

\(\displaystyle \bold{(c)}\)

duty cycle \(\displaystyle = \frac{t_W}{T} = \frac{1}{10} = 0.1 = 10\%\)
