Which is harder? Loaded question....

Can someone explain to me their experiences with these courses?
which is harder and why?

Also which class require the most memorization?

These are the wrong questions to ask, if not for being completely subjective, then for your thoughts of the importance of memorization. In any math course you will need to 'memorize' the definitions and methods which are taught, but more importantly you will need to be able to apply them. I suggest you look at the course descriptions of each and decide which you are most interested in.

anyone with some insight?
You've already been provided with "some insight". Here's more:

a. Which is harder? That will depend upon the school, the instructor, and the student. What is true for Student A in Institution X may be completely different from what is true for Student B in Institution Y.

b. Why? Many reasons, such as native intelligence, quality of instruction, clarity of the textbook, background experience, level of interest, etc.

c. Which requires more memorization? See (a.) above, and the previous reply for why this question (1) misses the point and (2) has no meaningful answer. ;)

Thanks Appreciate it. So I'm curious... what Institutions would be the best place to take such courses? I live in Boston and I will be taking these courses in the evening so therefore I can go essentially anywhere. This would include all the state schools... Umass schools, BU... Community Colleges or more expensive places like Harvard extension and MIT, Northeastern. What schools would allow me to learn the most? Which schools would have the better instructors? State Schools or Private schools? Lastly what text books do you recommend? Perhaps I can select as school based on that criteria?

Thanks in advance

The following is, of course, just my opinion and may have no basis in fact (but I don't think so).

The answer, at least in part, depends on what you want to do with the knowledge and how motivated you are to learn the subject. The motivation is what is the most important.

Although my experience with educational institutions is a bit in the past, how good (or poor) a particular school for 'higher education' is generally a matter of individual teachers whether they be full professors or 'just instructors'. All tend to provide a good level of instruction, but the 'better teachers', and especially for career purposes, tend to be where more money is paid since those are the institutions which tend to have 'better reputations'.
