Did I do these right? Algebra translating into expressions

1: The product of -3 and 9, added to 6

6 + (-3 . 9)

2: 11 less than the difference between 9 and -3

9 - (-3) - 11

3: Eight added to twice a number is 42

2x + 8 = 42


4: 11 less than the difference between 9 and -3

9 - (-3) - 11

Four Subtracted From A Number Is Twice The Number Minus 8

X - 4 = 2X - 8

X is the number.

And Is means equal correct?
