hello this is my first time here and hopefully i can get some help for a question im confused about. well i was given the graph of f(x) which consists of 3 linear lines (two horizontal and a line with a slope of 2) and i have to determine f(6, -2,-5,-3,3). i had thought of going about it by finding the y coordinate of whatevr the f of x equaled but some had two y coordinates:S any help would be greatly appreciated:)

If the graph showed two y-coordinates for one x-coordinate, then the graph isn't of a function, so the "f(x)" notation is nonsensical.

Not being able to see the picture you're looking at, I'm afraid there isn't much else to say. Sorry!
