Hi,
I was just wondering how to find [log[sub:2ejwyo14]10[/sub:2ejwyo14](tanx)][sup:2ejwyo14]IIII[/sup:2ejwyo14] ? I.e f quadruple prime.
My post seems to be coming up odd on my computer so just incase the subscript number after log is 10.

y = log (e) * ln[tan(x)] ... with log unless otherwise specified 10 base is assumed.

apply chain rule:

y' = log (e) * 1/[tan(x)] * [sec^2(x)] = log (e) * 1/[tan(x)] * [1 + tan^2(x)] = log (e) * [cot(x) + tan(x)]

Now continue......
