can someone help me solve these:
f(x)=(x^2+x+1)e^x^2

f(x)=ln(4x^2-x+5)

I´m completely stuck and do not know how to solve them step by step, can someone please show me and explain?

Is your problem statement:

Solve for 'x', given:

\(\displaystyle \log_{e}\left( 4 * x^2 - x + 5 \right) \ = \ (x^2 + x + 1) * e^{x^2}\)

I assume that you are to find two derivatives.
1) \(f(x)=(x^2+x+1)e^{x^2}\) this requires the product rule.
If \(f(x)=g(x)\cdot h(x)\) then \(f'(x)=g'(x)h(x)+g(x)h'(x)\)
Here \(g(x)=(x^2+x+1)~\&~h(x)=e^{x^2}\)
Now if you cannot finish then you are not ready to do the questions.
