Hi i have a question regarding derivative, the exact question is:

Find dP/dQ and dq/dp when 30P+3Q-81= 0

Thanks in advance ^^

Solve your equation for p and q, respectively, then differentiate the results.

okay i am really new to this so i still get lost =(

this is what i did please comment it ^^

dp/ dq= 30 - 3Q - 81
dq / dp = 30-3-81

thanks ^^

d/dQ[30P + 3Q - 81 = 0]
30(dP/dQ) + 3 = 0
dP/dQ = -1/10

d/dP[30P + 3Q - 81 = 0]
30 + 3(dQ/dP) = 0
dQ/dP = -10

note the relationship between dP/dQ and dQ/dP.
