For those of you who read Highlights Magazine as a child:
Goofus: edits his original post to remove the content, thereby devaluing the topic and making others wonder whether he is afraid his professor will find that he has posted a problem that is part of a graded assignment.
Galant: returns to post his findings for the benefit of other students who may wish to see a worked example, and giving others a chance to add insights.
