Can I please get some help with this problem. I have no idea how to do this one as well (sorry).
I appreciate it!

Find a degree 3 polynomial whose coefficient of x^3 equal to 1. The zeros of this polynomial are -5, -2 i, and 2 i. Simplify your answer so that it has only real numbers as coefficients.

If x - a is a factor, then x - a = 0 says that x = a is a root.

Take the roots they've given you, and work backwards to the factors. Then multiply the factors to get the polynomial.

If you get stuck, please reply showing all of your steps.

Thank you.

Eliz.
