What category of math or what type of books cover the deflation of a polynoial P' = gcd(P,dP/dx) and squarefree polynomials for someone who wants to be introduced to these things for the first time? Also for fractions of the form Q/V^m(where V is squarefree), why is there an equation Q/(1-m)=BV' + CV for some B and C? I have no idea. What type of books would help me?
