Wanted to know if I'm doing this right.

Evaluate. Over integral -1>x>-2. x/x^2+1. Going to { for the integral sign

1/2{1/x^2+1 2xdx
1/2{ 1/u du
{1/2 ln |u|
1/2 ln (x^2 + 1)
1/2(ln2-ln5) = -.4581

Is this done correctly? I don't know if I did the substitution correctly?

Generally, we integrate from left to right, so the limits should be from x = -2 to x = -1.

Oh okay. Sorry I wrote them down wrong. Thanks for the reply. Did I complete this properly?
