I simplified it to 15x^3/3 - 10x^2/2 +8x

I plugged the numbers in and got 2304-84= 2220

For some reason it is saying 2220 is the wrong answer. Am I missing something?

Yes.

For starters, never write 15x^3/3 again. AT LEAST, use 5x^3. If you REALLY like the 15, try (15x^3)/3

For nexters, never write 10x^2/2 again. AT LEAST, use 5x^2. If you REALLY like the 10, try (10x^2)/2

For thirds, how is leaving two fractions not in lowest terms "simplified"? Better check that definition (albeit a rather loose definition).

Fourth, you should get 2304 - 36 = 2268

My official opinion? Your notation is too sloppy to follow. Even you can't follow it. Be neater, more organized, and more careful.
