At a baseball game, a batter hits the ball and runs toward first base with a speed of 25ft/sec

.
(On the exam, you won’t have to know the size of a baseball diamond, but this isn’t the actual
exam.)
(a) At what rate is his distance from second base decreasing when he is halfway to first base?.
(b) At what rate is his distance from third increasing after 2 seconds?

Do you know the size of a baseball diamond? If not, you'll have to look it up first.
