David's and Amy's ages are in multiples of 11. In 12 years' time, their total age will be 101 years. David is not more than 20 years old. Find Amy's age, assuming that she is older than David.

David's and Amy's ages are in multiples of 11.
So their ages are 11, 22, 33, 44, or some similar numbers.

In 12 years' time, their total age will be 101 years.
In twelve years' time, they will each be twelve years older. The sum of their ages will therefore be twenty-four more than their current sum. What then is their current sum? (Hint: Subtract.)

David is not more than 20 years old.
Then what age MUST he be? (Hint: Look at list.)

Find Amy's age, assuming that she is older than David.
Given the sum of their ages and David's age, what then must be Amy's age? (Hint: Subtract.)

If you get stuck, please reply showing your work and reasoning in answering the above questions. Thank you! ;)

Finally result

Its very cool painted above (by stapel).
Let me add
So their ages are 11, 22, 33, 44, or some similar numbers.
And David is not more than 20 years old.
So, David is 11 years old, only 11.
And further
101-24=77 (its their total age)
So, Amy is 66 years old (77-11=66).
Finally, David is 11 years old, Amy is 66 years old.
