Jenny averaged 35 out of a possible 40 marks for her eight tests Maths tests. However when checking her files, she could only find seven of the tests. For these she scored 29,36,32,38,35,34,39.Can you determine how many marks out of 40 she scored for the eighth test?
Im bad at math can you help me answer this question?

Assume that she scored "x" in her 8 th test. Then using the definition of average, we grt:

\(\displaystyle 35 \ = \ \dfrac{29 \ + \ 36 \ + \ 32 + \ 38 \ + \ 35 \ + \ 34 \ + \ 39 \ + \ x}{8}\)

now solve for "x"......
