Currency Numbering System Conversion - Crore Calculation

Hi,


Actually i struggling with the currency numbering conversion and the concept if the "crore".


I have tried currency converting calculator for this and got answer.

250 crores (2500000000) is equals to 2500 millions, 2.5 billions and 0.0025 trillions. Is this right?


Kindly explain me the calculation. It would be most grateful.

1 crore = 10 million (10⁷)
