Ok. So I need some help! I always get this wrong! My teacher explained us to go like this: % over 100=part over whole(is)(of) Now if the problem is like What is 9% over 81 how do I solve this correctly? [/code]

Your teacher explained how to do what by the above method? What statistical process are you working with?

Is the exercise "like" what you've listed, or exactly as you've listed? If exactly, what is the meaning of "some percent over some value"? Does this exercise mean "find the value that is nine percent greater than eighty-one", or something else?

Please reply with the full and exact text of your statistics question, the complete instructions, a detailed description of any required graphic, and a clear listing of what you have tried thus far. It would probably be helpful to include a listing of the topics and/or techniques that have been covered recently in your statistics course.

Thank you.

Eliz.
