I was reading an explanation on Cramer's Rule I found online.

If you look at the web site, where does the =(-2)+(-1)+(2) come from the first step, just under ''Evaluating each determinant, you get:''

I ask because I am trying to solve the following linear equation and I am trying to understand it :

2x -3y +z = 4
x + y + z = 3
x +4y -3z = -3

Thank you!

To use Cramer's Rule, you first have to learn how to compute determinants. Once you know how to do that, the computations on the page in question will be immediately obvious.
