I just need to know how to set up this prolem.

For a long-distance call, the telephone company charge 0.35 for each of the the first three minutes and 0.15 for each additional minute. If the cost of a call was $12.30, how many minutes did the call last?

Let t = the total time of the call in minutes.
Here is a single equation. \(\displaystyle 1.05+.15(t-3)=12.30\)

Thank you very I see how it should be done. I had set up the same way, but it was out of order.
