Can someone help me with this problem. I'm not sure where to start. Please point me in the right direction.

Where y is the cost in thousands of dollars for removing x percent of a given pollutant. Find the cost of removing 45% to the nearest dollar. Cost benefit model: y= 7.8x / 100-x

You are given a formula with variables x and y, given a value for x, and asked the value of y. So plug the given x-value in for "x", simplify, and copy down the value for y.

Where are you stuck? Please be specific. Thank you.

Eliz.
