converting numbers into sentences

I know it sounds dumb but I forget I am old..
I need to know how to write the answer to one billion divided by 35 which I get 28571427.57 so it that twenty eight million, five hundred seventy one thousand, four hundred twenty seven (and the 57 is just part of a cent)

Yes, you are correct (except I got an 8 immediately preceding the decimal point). Further...

In groups of three starting at the decimal point and reading to the left, the first group of three is the "units", the second group is the "thousands", the third group is the millions, fourth --- the billions, fifth ---trillions (in USA). We would read the above numeral as "fifty-four trillion, three hundred ninety-two billion, seven hundred twelve million, five hundred seventy-one thousand, four hundred twenty-seven and fifty-seven hundredths.
