Hello everyone. I'm new here and I have a question. How do you convert a whole number to an improper fraction? I'm very clear on how to convert mixed numbers to improper fractions, but what seems to be a very simple question has me confused. Please take a look and let me know if you can help me out. Thanks!

Convert to a improper fraction:

a) 7

An "improper" fraction is one whose numerator is larger than its denominator, such as "3/2" or "17/8".

Hint: Any whole number can be turned into a fraction by putting it over "1". And any fraction, multiplied by a form of "1" (such as "2/2" or "17/17"), represents the same value.
