I'm having problems with converting the graph equation from sin to cos. We really didn't learn much about it in class. It goes like this y = a sin(c(x + ps)) + vs to the same thing but to cos like so: y = a cos(c(x + ps)) + vs. I just don't get it. :? :? :?

I'm not sure what you mean by "it goes like this...", but, since sine and cosine are merely phase shifts of each other, just shift the function you don't want to get the function you do want.
