Hi, I am trying to convert (4,7) from Rectangular coordinates to Polar Coordinates. So far I have that r= sqrt 65. I am having trouble finding the last part of the equation though. I know that the formula is tan^-1 * (y/x), but the answer i get just doesnt seem right. Can anyone help me? Thanks

Why do you doubt yourself? You are right.
\(\displaystyle \left( {\sqrt {65} } \right) , \arctan \left( {\frac{7}{4}} \right)\)
