I need help finding a formula to convert the following as an example: $7,400 is the cost for a tonne of x. I need to know the cost per pound. If anyone can show how to do this, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

The metric tonne is 1000 kilograms = 2200 lbs.
Therefore, the cost per pound would be C = 7400/2200 = $336/lb.
