The question is asking to find the standard form of the equation of the hyperbola with the given characteristics:

Verticies: (-2,1), (2,1)
Foci: (-3,1), (3,1)

using the c^2=A^2 + B^2
I find that a = 2(verticies) and c = 3(foci)
so b= ?5

Plugging everything back in the standard equation I got

((x^2)/4) - (((y-1)^2)/25) = 1

Can someone please confirm that my answer is correct. Thanks!

What, no equations of asymptotes or length of latus rectum?

Why do you doubt? What part did you perform deliberately in error?
