Conics anyone???

I am desperately needing help with conics. I am far from understand any of it. I am being asked to find the directrix and the focus of the parabola. My lesson isn't do a very good job of explaining this.
I am very close to passing my college algebra class. I am maybe two points from passing, and understanding conics would be of great help. Thanks!!
