I'm not sure the question even makes sense grammatically.
It asks for "the locus of points which are equidistant to the midpoint of the focus of the parabola and the point (3,4)." So we are looking for points that are the same distance from two things, right? What are those two things?
Either one is "the midpoint of the focus of the parabola and the point (3, 4)" and the other is not mentioned, or one is "the midpoint of the focus of the parabola" (whatever that means) and the other is "the point (3, 4)". Unless you can interpret it based on the way you have been taught to use these words, it may just be a misprint.
Can you tell me how you interpret it, and what you have done to solve it?
