I need help confirming an answer I have come up with:
Equation for a Hyperbola with vertices: (2, 2/pi) and (-8, 3pi/2)

r=16 over 3 +5sin(theta)

I will confirm that your answer is a solution, but I would have said that just two vertices are not enough to determine a hyperbola.
