Is this a HW?

Calculate the area of each bedroom.

Divide the rent proportionately.

Does "based on the dimensions of each bedroom" mean "according to the percentage that a given bedroom is of the total bedroom-based square footage"?

If so, then use what you learned back in pre-algebra: Find the square footage of each room. Sum to find the total bedroom-based square footage. Then do the divisions to find the percentages, and multiply against the total rent. ;)

As Subhotosh Khan said, add the area up and divide proportionately. However, 'twer me I would add in that private bath room for the one who got the 12'1'' X 17'3'' room
