My problem is this:

Suppose there is a cone with a side 4/sq rt(3) and that we cut the cone parallel with its base so that we get two pieces with same volume. What is the height from the cone's base to the cut (height of incomplete cone)?

Thanks!

Please tell us the formula for the volume of a Right Circular Cone - assuming that is what you mean by "cone".

If you cut it parallel to the base, what is the general appearance of the top piece when compared to the original?
