''Suppose x is particular real number. Let p.q and r represent respectively

x>0, x<3, x=3

Write following statements symbolically, using p.q.r and logical operations

1) x>3

You have x>0, x<3 and x=3. Which of these must be true and which must be false to conclude that x>0. Maybe on a number draw all three inequalities and think how to get x>0. If for example you conclude that p and r are true and q is false then write p and ~q and r. Is this clear?

Same for problem 2.

These really are not that hard. If you still help then please post your work so we can see what is going on.
