The question is:
"Prove using induction that
1*2 + 2*3 + ... + n * (n+1) = n * (n+1) * (n+2)/3"

Help please

Thanks,

Jared

Well, do it.

1) Show that it starts.
2) Show that one implies the next.

Go!

Prove using induction that

. . . . .1*2 + 2*3 + ... + n * (n+1) = n * (n+1) * (n+2)/3

Help please
"Help" with what? They gave you the plug-n-chug process (like here). You started by plugging "1" in. And... then what?

Please be complete. Thank you! ;)
