need help on composite function college algebra can you show all the work and answners
dont know where to start

f(x) = x+1/x+2
g(x) = 2x-3/x+4

1. find ( g o f)
2. Find the domain of ( g o f)

I would start by understanding, first and foremost, that this is a help board where we answer people's questions about their math work. Since you didn't read or understand the post "Read Before Posting," let me summarize: You haven't asked any questions, so as far as I can tell, you're just posting a problem for fun. On the other hand, it's hard to tell if you asked any questions, because you didn't write any actual sentences either, and this two-word phrase "college algebra" is just kind of thrown into the middle of a bunch of word soup. I think that phrase is supposed to translate into a period.

Let me say, if I were going to solve this problem, I would first figure out how to do this one:

\(\displaystyle f(x) = x + 1\)

\(\displaystyle g(x) = x + 2\)

And let me address it in a similar way:

find f o g math help board start that one show us how you did show full answer and all steps brb

Really you need to write the problems more correctly. Parentheses are required when writing rational functions.

f(x) = x + 1/x + 2 should be written (x + 1)/(x + 2)
g(x) = 2x - 3/x + 4 should be written (2x - 3)/(x + 4)

how did i not write the problem it says that in plain f ing enlgish find f o g and find domain read dumb that u dumb noob

by the way i didnt put the parenthesis because i was typing on my computer i put it when i write it on the piece of paper dont tell me that the problem is written wrong just cuz the parenthesis is missing

As was explained, the lack of parentheses almost certainly changed the functions from those provided to you (unless you actually meant, for instance, that f(x) = x + (1/x) + 2, as you wrote). I'm sorry if this was too confusing for you to understand.

I'm sorry to hear that your book and instructor are engaging in such staggeringly poor writing, that the above is an accurate representation of what is being assigned. You might wish to complain to the school's administration, especially if this evident sloppiness and ignorance is the norm in your classroom (which could explain why you "dont[sic] know where to start").

But it should be noted that our questions regarding this exercise related to "formatting" (that means "how the stuff is written down"), your actual query (that means "the question you wanted to ask about this"), and your progress (that means "what you've done so far" and "what your thoughts are"), not the printed instructions. I'm sorry if this was too confusing for you.

It is to be regretted that you feel that we are idiots. But one wonders then why one would want to get "solutions" (you directed us to provide you with "all the work and answners[sic]") from people who one regards as being nowhere near as intelligent as onesself....?

Since you clearly feel the helpers here are not up to your level of intelligence or competence, we will wish you well in your studies, and not upset you with further queries.

Eliz.
