Complex Numbers: find values of x, y to solve 3x-7yi=21-56i

The directions say:

Find values for x and y that make each sentence true:

3x - 7yi = 21 - 56i

I have two problems with this but I just want to know how to do it so I'm able to do the other one on my own. Step by step instructions would be greatly appreciate. Please and thank you ahead of time!

Equate

real part with real part and

Imaginary part with imaginary part.

In other words, if

A + iB = C + iD

then

A = C

and

B = D
