the problem calls for me to express as +/- 1 or +/- i

i^4n+3 (n an integer)

i^4 is 1 and i^3 is -i so my answer would be 1* -i = -i?

A similar problem is i^4n+1 (n an integer)

i^4 is 1 and i^1 is i so my answer would be 1* i = i?

If n is divisible by 4 it equals 1 correct? so all i am concered about for this problem would be the number following 4n?

my book doesn't cover any examples like this, this is what my common sense tells me, am i right?
