Given the equation of a circle x^2 + y^2 + 6y -7 = 0

2.1) Determine the centre M
y^2 + 6y + x^2 = 7 .............Dont know what to do with the x^2, shouldnt there be another variable like x or 2x.....etc

2.2) Radius(r)

Sorry, It makes sense now, centre of the circle is 0, so it should be (x-0)^2 + (y+3)^2 = 16 and radius is 4

Sorry, It makes sense now, centre of the circle is 0, \(\displaystyle \ \ \) <----- No.

so it should be (x-0)^2 + (y+3)^2 = 16 and radius is 4

Scemin34Egl, the center will be given in the form of (h, k). Your answer for the center is incorrect.
