Complementary angles

I'm sorry, but I don't understand your post. What do "m", "L", "A", and "B" stand for? Your subject line refers to "angles"; do any of these variables relate to that? I don't see any instructions: What are you supposed to be doing with these two equations?

Thank you.

Eliz.

Would I be correct if I guessed that "m" stands for "the measure of"? Does "L" stand for "the angLe"?

If so, then add the angle measures, and set equal to the appropriate value. (Hint: Complementary angles add up to a particular value. What is it?)
